Hazelwood has very, very good food in a nice atmosphere. It has become my favorite brunch spot, I've had the avocado toast, the huevos rancheros among others and both were very good and filling. They have great cocktails for those that imbibe - myself I had a virgin mary, spicy and topped with maple glaze bacon but didn't overdo the garnishes. Would be perfect if 1) they had a cappuccino machine vs just brewed coffee, and 2) the 80s music is a bit jaded and a little too loud. Other than that, a great choice with a huge parking lot for free (vs Excelsior)

Love this restaurant. Every time we visit our friends in Minnesota we make it a point to visit this restaurant. The service and food are great. It's very cozy and elegantly decorated.

Hazelwood is one of our favorite go-to spots, and for good reason! Most of their food is consistently great, and we've tried quite a bit of the menu over multiple visits. This time, we ordered the Shrimp & Scallop Scampi and the Angel Hair Pasta with Chicken & Shrimp. Both dishes were flavorful, well-prepared, and satisfying. For appetizers, we had the wings, which were a great start to the meal. The food is always a highlight here, but the service deserves a shoutout too--it's consistently awesome! The staff is friendly, attentive, and really helps make the experience enjoyable. They have a parking lot, which is convenient, but it tends to fill up quickly, so finding a spot can sometimes be a bit tricky. Overall, Hazelwood is a reliable spot for delicious food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely keep coming back for more!

MI always order the scallop offering from here when I'm in MN. There was a very rich flavor and was cooked to perfection, I have never had a bad experience with the food here. Service is always friendly, with a lot of worker helping run orders and clean tables. It does get loud in here because of how busy it gets, but that's a great thing. Get the dessert flight, it's worth every calorie.

We loved everything about our first experience at Hazelwood! Our food was spectacular, service was great, atmosphere was pleasant as it wasn't too loud to easily converse. We enjoyed the artichoke dip and chips. There was a bit of a kick but we enjoyed it. The prime rib sandwich was our least favorite dish but was still good. The walleye was great and was accompanied by mashed potatoes instead of rice. The pork chop with apples and smoked gouda hash browns was delicious. Finally the scallop risotto was delightful. We'd recommend this restaurant and will be going back again!

This may be the go to restaurant in Minnesota. We went to the to la location and it was beautiful inside and out! The service was phenomenal and even took care of our large group of personalities and asks! Each and every dish we all ordered was amazing in its own way! It's crazy how much we ranted and raved after leaving. MAKE SURE you get the pork chops! It was the best pork chops all 10 of us said we ever had and even order a second order so we could share it!

I've been to both the Bloomington & SLP Hazelwood locations and the Tonka Bay was my favorite experience! Mainly due to the great service we received, but the food and drinks were also great. We shared the calamari, Szechuan green beans, and a small Caesar for apps. For our entrees we enjoyed the poke bowl, chicken bowl, and Margherita pizza - all 5/5! I highly recommend any location, and especially Tonka Bay, for a fun night out with friends or family. Moderate pricing- for a few drinks, apps, and 3 entrees our total came to just over $100.

We stopped in on a Saturday for an early dinner - pro tip: make a reservation before 5:30pm! The system won't let you make same day rezzies after 5:30pm. We were willing to wait the 20 minute estimated time since we'd been here before and loved it! After 30 min of waiting I checked-in with the hostess and she told us we were still on the waitlist and would be seated after all the reservations were seated. It seemed a bit weird because we the online reservations are set for every 30 min and there's a 10 min grace period. We started looking at other restaurants when they let us know our table was ready. Once we sat down, everything went smoothly and the food was amazing. I got the chicken pot pie and was so impressed by the portion size, the price for the entree, and how sweet our waitress was. There is plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. Next time I'll have to make a reservation before 5:30 to make sure we don't have a long wait!

You can always count on Hazelwood for a good meal!!! Even though their dinner is my favorite their breakfast doesn't disappoint. Deviled Eggs - no matter what time of day I will always order these that's how good they are. 5/5 Sunrise burger - cooked to perfection and you could really taste a lot of flavor in the meat. Add the avacado. 5/5 Breakfast burrito - it was good, nothing to rave about. The salsa was the best touch! 3/5 Spicy pepper bloody - homemade pepper vodka with great toppings and a beer chaser. 5/5
